Singer/songwriter Paula Valstein performed on March 3rd at the legendary Joe’s Pub located on 425 Lafayette Street in New York City to a packed house. If any of you have had the opportunity to see Paula live, it is quite an emotional experience. She takes you on a journey through her creative mind that leaves smiles on the faces of all that are lucky enough to witness. Heart palpitations are also common when listening to her lovely voice.

Paula was wearing the “Shine” dress designed by NYC based fashion designer David D’Angelo Caldwell. The fabric selected was a bright yellow satin faced stretch silk charmeuse that flowed so beautifully as Paula gracefully played her set. There was a second piece that was covering her shoulders. A belt constructed of horsehair braid completed her look. The belt was joined at the back as it came up and over to rest on her shoulders. A series of intricate pleating was used to create the curves. It was also attached to a single row of a Swarovski crystal necklace. He will be designing for Paula’s upcoming tour dates. We are eager to see what David will design next.
